There are two main things you can do with Scheduled Audio Player. The first one is to select an audio track and play it right then and there. The second one is to select an audio file to be played at a specific time and for a specific duration. You set up a schedule, and the application plays the tracks you choose, in accordance with that schedule.

After downloading a 9.6MB and going through the few steps presented by a setup wizard, Scheduled Audio Player will be installed on your Windows-powered computer and ready to use. The simple interface will not give you any trouble, even if you’re a novice computer user.

To play an audio track right then and there, click the Select button from the Instant Playing section at the top. After you select a file, just press play and enjoy. Before you play the file though, you could play with the sample rate, channels, bits/s, volume or balance.

To get Scheduled Audio Player to automatically play an audio file at a specific time, you must set up a schedule. You can create one from the “Scheduled playback settings” menu. You can name your schedule, set up the frequency of the playback (daily, weekly, on a specific date), and you can set up the start and end time for the playback. You could set it up so that an audio file is played every day from 12:00 to 12:30, for example.

And since we’re talking about schedules, you can set it up so that Scheduled Audio Player will automatically shut down your computer at the time you specify.

Scheduled Audio Player is only free to try; you can use it for free for an evaluation period of 5 days.

This user friendly application lets you set up a schedule and it will play audio tracks according to that schedule.

Pros

The user friendly interface is easy to figure out. Play audio tracks right then and there, schedule them to be played at a specific time and for a specific duration. Scheduled Audio Player can shut down your computer at a specified time. You can back up and recover scheduled playing events.

Cons

Free to use for a 5-day trial.
